It was with complete sadness that the club learned of the passing of David Storrie On Friday 20th August

David typified the meaning of " Club man". A former Colonel in the Royal Marines Commandos David's passion for Rugby and more specifically our Club was second to none.

David would always be seen at the club whether it be engaging with our youngest members along with their parents or would continue to part with his wisdom onto our oldest players. He was a doer and would not hesitate in putting on his green overalls to do odd jobs around the club.
He sat on the board of directors since its conception but his rugby life extended a lot further back with Betteshanger Colliery RFC and playing for the Corps during his military service.

Davids passing has left a big hole in the club. He was held with the utmost respect by all who knew him. A gentleman, an officer and will always be remembered as a legend of our club

Our Sincere thoughts are with Linda and the rest of his family at this difficult time

RIP David.. We salute you
